Back again for another DIY Face Mask tutorial! Today, we will make an ear saver pleated face mask with a filter pocket.  What you need:  - 25cmx20cm fabric (pillowcase or old clothes will do) - shoelace  - needle - thread - small safety pin Here's the step-by-step procedure: STEP 1 Place your fabric flat on a table with the right side in front.   Iron them.  Fold it in half horizontally and iron again.  Unfold it, then fold it at the top and bottom towards the center. Then, iron it again. Unfold and flip to the right side. STEP 2 Pinch and fold 1 cm of the fabric.  Do this 3 times and iron every fold. Then separate the two fabrics.  STEP 3 Place the right side on top. Sew the raw edges.  Then flip it over and iron the top and the folds.  Make 2 small folds on the sides this will be the holder for the shoelace. Hold it in place using a clip or pin. Last January 2020 was the first COVID-19 outbreak here in Macau. As disposable facemasks began to run out due to panic buying and an increase in demand, I started thinking of making my own. Since I don't have a sewing machine, I sewed one by hand. And for the last four months, I have been making these DIY Face Masks.       Here is the step-by-step procedure: Free Pattern STEP 1 Use the pattern above or if you have a disposable face mask, use it as a pattern. Fold the mask into half, then stretch the folded part.  Fold the fabric right side together and trace the pattern. Leave about 1 cm allowance at the top and bottom of the mask , then 5cm on the side. Then cut it. For your second layer and pocket to filter, do the exact same thing except for the sides. Make the sides of the second layer, 5cm shorter than the first layer. Tip: Use your old shirt or pillowcase so you don't need to sew the sides. Use the part of the old shirt or pillowcase with the hem.  STEP...
